Claim watch for veterans

We watch everything. You hear the moment anything moves.

VA's page shows you a progress bar. We read the whole record underneath it and email you when any part of it changes.

One claim free. We check every hour. Cancel any time.

What counts as movement

VA's claim page shows five phases. The record behind it holds a lot more, and most of it never shows up as a phase change. We watch all of it.

VA needs something from you

The moment VA flags your claim as waiting on a document, you hear about it. Miss that flag and your claim sits. This is the one that costs veterans months.

Your claim moves backward

Claims drop back a phase more often than people expect. It usually isn't bad news. We tell you it happened and what it normally means.

A letter goes out

VA logs development and decision letters when they send them. You hear about the decision letter before the envelope reaches you.

The estimate shifts

VA's completion window moves. We tell you which direction it moved and by how much.

Your conditions list changes

A contention added, reworded, or dropped. Veterans usually find this out months later, in the decision letter.

It closes

Complete, canceled, or errored. You find out the same day, not on your next login.

We report what VA's system says and we say when we saw it. VA's data can lag behind the person working your file, so VA.gov stays the record.

Three steps, about four minutes

Step two happens on VA.gov. We hand you to VA's own login, you approve the connection there, and VA sends you back here.

Email and a password. That's the whole form. Turn on two-factor later if you want it.

Approve us on VA.gov

You leave this site. You sign in with your own VA.gov credentials on VA's page, approve read-only access to your claim status, and VA returns you here.

We never see your VA.gov password. You can revoke us from VA.gov or from your account page.

Pick what to watch

Your claims show up in a list. Flip the switch on the ones you care about. We take it from there.

Two dollars, tops

Everyone gets the same watching and the same hourly checks. The only thing money buys is more claims.

Free

$0

Watch one claim. Every signal above, checked every hour, no card on file. Most veterans stop here.

Unlimited

$1.99/mo

Watch every claim you have, and any you file later. Worth it if you have a supplemental or an increase running alongside an open claim.

Fair questions

No. Forward March is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We read your claim status through VA’s public API, with your permission, and you can cut that off any time.
